10 Most Interesting Silver Stocks

June 02, 2011 – Comments (4) | RELATED TICKERS: SLV , SIL , SLW

I'm finally clearing out some old e-mails as I've been swamped between work and home life lately.  This was in my inbox from yesterday or the day before with Peter Grandich's newsletter.

You're right, I did find it interesting. :)

That's gutsy to include a stock that has its fate hinging on Bolivia. I suppose that makes South American Silver "interesting", but it sure doesn't make it attractive. With the exception of Coeur, which I believe Bolivia will leave alone, I have removed all exposure to the juristiction from my portfolio.

I do still own Revett, and consider it a very interesting story for sure. Alexco is a core holding, and one of my favorite silver plays not only because of the vast potential at Keno Hill, but also because it's rare to find vast silver reserves within a highly attractive jurisdiction like Canada.

Mostly I found it reassuring that their list was roughly half of your list, and even though they said it was in no particular order, they still had Silver Wheaton as the first one they mentioned.
