October 12, 2009 – Comments (4)

The Austintown ER and Austintown HealthCare Center are closing and its patients and services are being transferred to facilities operated by Forum Health Inc., the company announced late Sunday.

Employees of the Conti Corp. learned Friday their services would no longer be needed. The closing results from the retirement of owner Jim Conti, who developed Ohio’s first free-standing, independent emergency room and outpatient surgery center in 1986.

In an effort to balance the budget for the 2009‐10 academic year, Centenary College of Louisiana is reducing its staff by 15 percent effective immediately.

President David Rowe announced Monday that the college is undertaking the reductions as a responsible approach to current economic challenges and the changing needs of the college. This is the first phase of an overall budget restructuring plan.

First phase?????????????????????????????

And lots of other stuff shutting down......even courts.......

MENDOCINO COUNTY – Willits’ high court will permanently close Dec. 31, according to a release citing inadequate state funding.

Mendocino Superior Court made the announcement Oct. 1, saying state budget cuts combined with exhausted mitigation funding will leave the central county branch without enough funding by year’s end. Beginning Jan. 2, all cases will be handled in the Ukiah location.

And the Auto Dealers are just starting to shut down.....

Sheehy Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Upper Marlboro

As America is shutting is some HAPPY news:

Don't let the Financial Professionals here bully you into BELIEVING what is clearly impossible mathematically.  We are moving into a very serious DEFLATIONARY period simply because there is NO MONEY with which to cause Inflation.

Print as you wish, but money is earned, it is not printed.  Bernanke keeps forgetting that, as Greenspan did before him.  The size of the problem which these folks have created is not cause for simply alarm, but it is TREASON against The People.  The Federal Ponzi Scheme continues...until it stops.  Then what?  Another Nobel Peace Prize?

Alstry, you're really getting desperate for information.

You're saying that universities are shutting down? Centenary College of Louisiana is smaller than a high school!!!! Less than 3000 students. Colleges like this have even shit down during strong economic times.

I work for one of the largest, if not the largest, university in the US. You're whole universities shutting down is BULLSH*T! In fact, we're expanding.
