Well, that's what it felt like for sure when I called to get my insurance on my "new" car.  They only charged me $367.  I swear, that was about what I paid the first time I ever got car insurance.

There are 3 reasons for the low rate.  The first, there isn't a lot of opportunity to get into a car accident where I live.  Car insurance is already very cheap in the North West Territories.  Second is that it really isn't for a full year, but rather expires in May when my existing policy on the prelude expires.  Third, it is a duel ownership policy, so it is 15% off the regular rate, and it is a refund of 15% on the rest of the policy on the prelude.

But heck, when I called for a quote yesterday I was quoted $882, so the $367 was quite unexpected.

Yeah, it was cold there...  I arrived October 8th last year, one day after the first blizzard of the year.  I so remember driving into town thinking "what the heck have I gotten myself into."
