Treasury yields continue to tick slightly higher ahead of tomorrow's FOMC interest rate decision with the 2-yr yield backing off Friday's record low of 0.4977%, and now hovering near 0.5373%. The weakness up front has pushed the 2-10-yr spread flatter despite a rise in yields on the back end of the curve. The 2-10-yr spread is running 228.9, with a move below 227.1 giving the spread its flattest levels since October 2009. Spot gold has been trading in a tight range throughout most of the late morning trade and continues to chop around near 1202.
