By far one of my best screens in determining who is buying what on the street, and it is worth noting that the last time I posted this article, it was one of my most popular articles of all-time. Below you will find those stocks that are, among other variables that I use, 1) Gaining an increased amount of coverage by brokerage firms and analysts, and 2) Being upgraded on a regular basis. This is a good screen to show you where the smart money is putting their capital at, especially in the current volitile market environment, without you having to actually ask them. Pretty cool, eh? Take a look for yourself!

Take a look at FPL - they done a pretty good job weathering the recent storms and pays out a pretty hefty dividend at 3.8%

Hey Steve,

Checked out the stock and site you talked about in your comment - I honestly think these guys are getting paid to promote ABKI - a pump and dump scheme. As for the stock - its a penny/junk stock and I'd stay away from it all together as liquidity can get zapped in a heartbeat. ABKI is a good way to take you out of the game in a hurry. Just looking out for ya!

I don't recommend anyone buying Under Armor (UA). The last thing kids and young adults are buying is overpriced sports clothing when the market has already produced generic replicas of UA clothing that are much cheaper.

Fastenal heading into a short term decline. Don't buy that ethier.

Most of these stocks I wouldn't buy until the market settles down. Right now it seems there are all on the way down. A word of caution, don't catch falling knives.

Michael -

I appreciate your thoughts - these are the types of stocks you want to put on the watch list and once this market starts to reverse course/bottoms out, to slowly scale into some of these types of stocks.
