By far one of my best screens in determining who is buying what on the street. What you will find are those stocks that, among other variables that I use, 1) Gaining an increased amount of coverage by brokerage firms and analysts, and 2) Being upgraded on a regular basis. This is a good screen to show you where the smart money is putting their capital to work at, without you having to actually ask them.

Of the five stocks, the one that looks the best is Red Hat (RHT) - if it can break above that $33 level, it will find itself at new-highs - Not bad considering the uncertainty in the current market environment.

I disagree:

1) This is just following the herd behavior.

2) Again doing what everyone else is doing.

Like the saying goes "No one ever got fired for buying IBM."

Several analysts had Enron, Merrill, and CountryWide as buys leading up to their demises.

Also if these analysts are so smart why aren't they retired? I mean if  they can thump the market why aren't they investing their own money and are retired by now?
