50% Unemployment Getting Much Closer

November 19, 2009 – Comments (2)

Over 500,000 people per week are STILL filing unemployment claims for the first time.

Now very few are hiring and massive numbers are firing massively.

AOL may lay off up to a third of its staff

Under Zombulation policies, we simply have too much as more and more will be forced to cut back.  Too many hotels, hospitals, schools, shoppping centers, banks, condos, houses, insurance companies, cars etc.....

We could probably get rid of half of what we got and still have too much.

Think about it, the train has left the station as we all begin to feel.

So 4 months after California balances it's budget, they are now looking at an additional $20 Billion deficit. I actually heard a few in the media imply they were commiting fraud against the public.

Oh it's not fraud. When the companies have no profits to tax and increasing unemployment is reducing payroll taxes, it's not difficult to see the cause.

Until companies make profits that can be taxed and workers become employed to contribute payroll tax, they will continue to run new deficits.

Notice the increasing number of Hospital layoffs:

About 300 people who work at Mountainside Hospital on Bay Avenue, but who are still employees of the hospital’s former owner, Atlantic Health, are going to be laid off early next year.

With so few hiring, each job loss has a greater impact on the economy.
