Today my caps score went slightly over 90.  So ten percent of the crowd is still kicking my butt.  Perhaps unique, I actually buy what I post on caps.  Selling AAPL and GS now in chunks and putting it in PLNR and MWA.  I also like F, got on the train at $4.

I believe the growth of these little businesses (PLNR & MWA) will exceed the grrowth of GS and AAPL over the next six months.

What do you think?

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but....  Bevo, wouldn't that have been a home game for the Longhorns?  How is that fair for settling the National title?  If they turned down an invite to the Orange Bowl or some similar neutral site then I would be right there with you on this one.

Of course, that was almost before I was born and I don't particularly like PSU or Texas, but I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents worth.

As for the original poster, I agree that MWA will do better than GS or AAPL.  I'm not familiar with PLNR.  Good luck on your investments.

bridgeboy0, the Cotton Bowl is only 200 miles down the road from Austin, so you're correct that in a sense it would be, in a sort, a "home game" for the Longhorns.

How is that any different from the Nebraska Cornhuskers traveling to play the Miami Hurricanes in the 1982 Orange Bowl?  That happened to be the 'Canes actual home field (today's show on ESPN talked about how Nebraska, "designated" to be the home team for the 1982 Orange Bowl, asked the bowl representatives to not let any team come out onto the field "running through smoke" but Miami took offense at that prohibition and one of the Miami assistant coaches grabbed a fire extinguisher to create the "smoke" for the Hurricane players to run through).

Or Vince Young and the Longhorns going to the 2006 Rose Bowl to play the USC Trojans in what many people still refer to as the greatest college football game ever played?  Pasadena is much closer to the Southern Cal campus than Dallas is to Austin.  Or the 2005 Longhorn football team going into the Horseshoe (in Columbus) at night to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes?

The point is that to be the best, one needs to play the best.  That's why I like the Longhorns basketball team playing the North Carolina Tar Heels right now on ESPN.  And then the Longhorns turn around and play the Michigan State Spartans this coming Tuesday (3 days from now).

Bravo,

There is no difference.  I was just saying that I could understand them turning down the 'invitation'.  I really would prefer the BCS to be blown up and a playoff instituted.  Wasn't that one of Obama's campaign promises?  Who needs healthcare reform??  Let's get to the important issue!

PSU69, I don't know if you watched on ESPN2 on Saturday, but there was the national championship game between the Nittany Lions and the Longhorns in women's volleyball.  I don't watch volleyball much, but I'm willing to watch when they play 2-person volleyball in the sand in bikinis.  Well, this wasn't the same, but Penn State won in a 5 set match.  Congratulations to the Nittany Lion ladies on another national championship.

PSU, thanks for the tips.  Two stocks I never would have looked at, cant say I like either at this time, but will certainly be tracking.  I'm currently drinking the china kool aid with APWR, CSKI, CHBT, CBPO smaller positions in MRM, NEP, and LPIH...working great so far, but something I follow closely in the event one turns out to be nothing more then a ponzie scheme.

@BravoBevo:  Most excellent score you have Sir!  I love to play volleyball and to watch females play in bikinis (just can't let my wife of 41 years catch me at it).

@tkell31:  I have some inside vision of PLNR.  MWA is just math and need combined with their metrics & market share.

Good luck to all in the market in 2010.
