I live with great "portfolio peace of mind." Do you? I truly can walk away from my stocks for this week (on vacation), next month, the whole of 2007 -- heck, I feel great about my portfolio for the next 10 years, even if you put me on a deserted island and forced me not to sell. This frees up my mind and my energies to pursue all sorts of wonderful callings, all of which are at least as interesting and important to me as my stock portfolio.  [more]

Sometimes people make it sound as if it's wrong for (a) you to copy my CAPS pick, (b) me to copy a top ten CAPS player, (c) either of us to read an article and rate the featured stock in alignment with the writer of the article, (d) etc. etc. etc. You know the deal. "Rock-EEE! Rock-EEE!"

Maybe it's just the unlikely reappearance of Rocky Balboa to the silver screen this month, after all these years. (Thirty years later, by the way! Wow.) Maybe that's how the voices started. But the sound in my ears as I click into my own My CAPS page this morning is that same clangorous chant: "Rock-EEE! Rock-EEE!"  [more]
