As I write this, there are some stress test results up on the front page of Marketwatch. Goldman Sachs, US Bancorp and JP Morgan don't need new capital. Wells needs $13.7bn; this is unfortunate, but they will survive. BoA needs over $30bn. Citi needs $5.5bn.
With the dilution, BoA will be near worthless. Citi was already basically worthless. I believe Warren Buffet stated that he felt Wells should not need new capital.
