June 28, 2009 – Comments (9)

If we're going to defeat Cap and Trade, our best strategy is to go after the 8 Republicans that just voted yes on one of the largest tax bills ever passed in a session of Congress.  [more]

$175 Per Household For A Greener Tomorrow.... Well, Sort of....

June 27, 2009 – Comments (16)

Wish I had found this before the vote, not that it matters. Anyway, I always find it amusing when the government uses the same bogus accounting that would land a CEO in hot water.  No irony is lost on me =D.  This is going to be fun.   [more]

We Now Have A Gangster Government - Is Your Business Next?

June 26, 2009 – Comments (15)

I don't know much about Michelle Bachmann.  I know that she sits in on Ron Paul's weekly economic lunches.  She has read Meltdown.  She recently told the Census people that she'd tell them nothing except how many people live in her house, which caused a bit of a hysteria. (The fact that her statement was even a story... is a story in itself.)   [more]

Name That Statesman

June 24, 2009 – Comments (32)

This is a game called "Name that Statesman." I have done my best here to describe the individual in detail without giving away the time or place where he worked (though it is a difficult task.) This should be an easy one for all historians here, so if you find it clever but already know the answer, please don't spoil it for the rest. (A rec and a nod will do =D) I hope it gets peope thinking - especially those who don't know the answer at first.  If it's popular, I've got quite a few more of these are that are far more difficult.    (And no Google searching the quotes either until you figure it out! That's cheating!)  [more]

Questions for Ron Paul

June 04, 2009 – Comments (29)

I'm going to be meeting with Ron Paul at his office this afternoon. If there are any thoughtful messages that his fans in the Fool Community would like me to ask, post them here and I'll post his reply later tonight. I've got about 10-15 minutes of 1-on-1 time, as long as nothing comes up on his end.

Hope all is well with my fellow Fools!
