An interesting analsys here. I haven't seen this reported in the MSM (then again, I don't watch or read the MSM, so you tell me). Back in 1995, the United States government started giving financial incentives for deep water drilling, while since 1990 there has been a complete ban on drilling on the east side of the Gulf. Two articles I came across today you might find interesting. The first is the diary of a prisoner, Xiaodo Xiao, in one of Chairman Mao's labor camps. The second discusses the growing alliance among conservatives and socialists in American power circles in the late 1960's. The interrelatedness of these two viewpoints is staggering. Is there a connection between these events and the Left/Right paradigm that has been forced upon an unwitting American public? Whatever you decide, it makes for some thoughtful reading. [more]
Check out this brilliant and insightful 13 year old as she destroys Professor Benjamin Barber. The other day we discovered that 92% of Progressives got the minimum wage law question wrong on a simple economics survey. Well, here we go again. [more]
