Investing in Silver - Noob education

MetLife Sell-off today: A noob question.

November 17, 2008 – Comments (2) | RELATED TICKERS: MET

Did everyone sell MetLife today because they just announced the dividends? Is that how it works? People wait for their dividends and then cash out if they're worried?

Somehow MetLife has kept sales and profits strong, is there some other reason for todays sell off?

It's time to divert funds into the market...I might have to sell my ps3 or something.
