If you have been watching otherwise reasonably stable companies struggle in the equity markets due to more than just missing earnings estimates, Cramer explains that bondholders are finding ways to get their money back in these rough markets by playing hardball--especially with insurers C, BAC, HIG, LNG, PFC and other industries GGP, NT. In an effort to understand the most fruitful pockets of the market when it does turn around, I would like to hear from fellow Fools about 1) what larger-ticket items they are putting off buying 2) why: risk of job loss, tax benefits not available, hoarding cash just because you can, paying down debt etc. and 3) what would get you to buy now.
