I made overperform calls on KO and MO a while back, before the collapse of September '08.
Needless to say, both stocks are down. But they're down a lot less than the overall market. And they're helping my score!
CAPS has a lot of quirks, and this is more amusing than annoying, but still.

My position in Dendron actually helped me weather today's drop nicely. I actually closed it today though. The potential upside falls as the price rises. On top of that, while provenge looks like a pretty good drug, it could be a long time before it actually gets approved. [more]

I've noticed my score and CAPS rating tend to go up on down days in the market, and hold steady or fall on up days. So I guess my CAPS ratings are overall bearish. [more]

First, just to be fair, my long term, buy and hold portfolio is doing awful. Among my 10 holdings I bought over a year ago: AIG, BAC and SCSS. My experience with that portfolio has been pretty simple: For buy and hold, focus on mutual funds. [more]
