Forget the DOW

As per my post yesterday, the S&P finished the day in negative territory.  Forget that the DOW finished slightly up, it's a basket of 30 some odd stocks that isn't truly reflective of the economy as a whole.  The S&P 500 was down, but only slightly.  Expect ups and downs for the next few days, but no breathtaking move to the upside that would have happened with a positive finish.  [more]

I just sold my SSO position at 24.30 which I picked up for 18.88 on Friday.  I don't care who you are, if given a 1 day 28% gain take it - do NOT be greedy.  That one day move is good enough for a YEAR, don't be a fool (little f) and watch it evaporate, then sell at a loss one month from now.  [more]
