American Companies & The Ultimate Act of Patriotism

March 21, 2009 – Comments (3)

I have a Chrysler T&C wheelchair van. At 29,000 miles it had the rear hatch repaired & the airbag system repaired. At 41,300 miles the driver side power window stopped working. I took it into my local Chrysler Dealer here in Gresham Oregon to have it repaired. When they returned it to me, the window was repaired, but the stereo just "coincidently" stopped working while they were doing the repair. They refused to fix it at no cost, but offered to do the repair for a mere $700. I complained to the Better Business Bureau and to Chrysler Corporation, but my stereo still hasn't been repaired. That was 3 mos ago. Now I have approximately 43,000 miles on my van. I wonder everyday what is going to go wrong next and wonder how much I am going to have to pay for it. Everyday I have buyers remorse for purchasing this wheelchair van because it is the epitomy of a lack of dependability. I can guarantee you that if I could ever afford the $40,000 to $60,000 it costs for another wheelchair van, it sure wouldn't be a Chrysler.  [more]
