If I were a day trader, I could have made some big money on alternative energy this last month ......but I'm not a daytrader and so I just fasten my seatbelt a little tighter and try not to lose my nerve. Down 15% one day up 30% the next. It's not any one stock (although the newer the technology, the wider the swings) but the whole sector. Good thing I've got a strong stomach and start thinking about adding just a bit more Sunpower, Daystar, First Solar or American Superconductor during the nosedives. My CAPS score hasn't been pretty the last few weeks but it's starting to rise like the phoenix from the ashes. [more]
