Assembly required

September 14, 2017 – Comments (0)

My dad was at Canadian Tire last week and he saw a Peak Style Auto Shelter by Shelter Logic on sale and could not pass on a great deal. When it came time to assemble the auto shelter me and my brother read the instructions throughly and proceeded. No matter how much thought was put into making it easy to understand with diagrams by the manufacturer it took me, my brother, and our father approximately 18+ hours to complete (including trial and error because instructions can be confusing). At time of writing I found a 1:59 video how to How to Set Up a Portable Shelter which we should of search first on Canadian Tire website.  [more]

This is a very well scripted and performed 31 second video ad that gets the point out. Deciding if its a public announcement, corporate, or a combination of both ad is another debate.    [more]

September 04, 2017 – Comments (0) | RELATED TICKERS: DLTR , ODP , SPLS

Zellers was acquired by Target and then abruptly left learning it couldn't turn a profit around here until late 2010's to early 2020's leaving us one less giant retailer. OfficeDepot with merged OfficeMax and its subsidiary Grand and Toy no longer have brick-and-mortar stores around here but we can still shop online for supplies around here.  [more]
