In February 2009, Nash was helping a friend coax her 14-year-old pet chimp, Travis, back into the house. When Nash arrived, the chimp, who had been featured in television commercials for Coca-Cola and Old Navy, jumped on her and began biting and mauling her. Police later shot Travis to stop the attack and he died of gunshot wounds. The unprovoked attack sparked outrage from both animal rights activists and Congress which swiftly passed a bill prohibiting the purchase and transportation of primates across state lines. Economic performance is generally being measured through GDP (Gross Domestic Product), a variable that has also become the de facto universal metric for 'standards of living'. However, GDP does not properly account for social and environmental costs and benefits. It is also difficult to achieve sustainable decision-making aiming at sustainable progress and wellbeing if welfare is being considered from a purely financial point of view. Sustainable development can be defined as "Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs". NovaBay has been freefalling since it reported failed Phase II data for treatment of adenoviral conjunctivitis with NVC-422. While I do not think it was a very big deal (it is by far their smallest focus - dermatology, ophthalmology, urology, and hospital infections), apparently other investors aren't so confident. If they can show encouraging data for their other Phase II trials (expected by year's end) then they almost have to recover some of their value. A market cap of $20 mln would just be ridiculous. Time is not on their side however, as they face delistment by November 2nd if they cannot post 10 consecutive days of closing over $1.00. That seems almost impossible to avoid at this point. [more]
Does anyone know how to make your Gravatar your CAPS icon as well? Is this only possible for "TMF_" players? I have successfully updated my avatar (Pittsburgh Pirates logo) in My Profile, but when I go to My CAPS I still see the CAPS icon (the elephant). This isn't in the Help section unfortunately.
