Over the last several weeks, I have to admit, I’ve been sceptical of the bulls attempt to rally after the fateful session in late February. I was concerned that weak hands had been building up in the markets and that any excuse to sell would send stock prices falling. When we got the sell off, I was positive that it would be the trigger to scare a lot of investors out, and when prices rallied off of weak volume, I was sure this was merely a weak attempt by bulls to bargain hunt. However, two weeks later, boarder market indices are approaching breakeven levels after an encouraging report from the Federal Reserve. My thinking now is that perhaps the recent market sell off was alone, all we needed to scare off some of the weaker hands in stocks, and the encouraging words from the Feds could continue to send prices higher. Hello fellow fools, my name is Roberto and I guess you could say I’m the latest addition to your community. If you’ve looked over my pitches in my recent picks, you may be able to tell that I’m a bit of a technician or chartist. In the real world, I’m an active swing trader, using technical analysis towards short-term gains on a 2-10 day period. Some people like to use complicated systems with fancy indictors, but I like to keep things simple. Price, volume and maybe a moving average or two for effect is all I need to make good trading decisions. Here on Caps, I’ll try to include my fundamental view points as well to supplement my technical commentary, and try to diverse my picks with companies I also consider to be good long term investments. I look forward to reading to hearing your ideas, comments, criticism, and have to admit, I’m intrigued by the concept governing this community. So, lets make some money together. [more]
