Caps has been build with a stockpicking, buy and hold investment strategy in mind. That is the TMF-bias. However, Caps has  generated a lot of  other, different (investing? gameplaying?) strategies as well. I am aware of  four others -there are probably more out there.(Any suggestions, please name and describe them!)Red thumbing overvalued stocks; as a speciality within that redthumbing pumpanddump stocks; greenthumbing and/or redthumbing within a certain sector based on intimate knowledge of the industry; macroeconomic reasoning leading to red and or green sectorbets.   [more]

Statsgeek wrote a fine blog about the rends and countertrends in the market. He added a fine diatribe against the spindoctors of wallstreet and their eternal bullishness. At the end he suggests betting that the financials will go down again, and the commodities up.  [more]

I believe that deep in the markets there has been a subtle change. To put it in a nutshell: i think the financials have made a temporary low in july; the metals (commodities) (except gold) have made a temporary high.  [more]

I have been following cipostripes for a long time now. A list of stocks -no pitch, no blog. For ever unchanged. (To be exact: since 10/24/07 not one change) And for a very long time she just marched onward through the ranks. She reached the number one spot  ..without moving a muscle. I liked the name, the silence, the steady move upward. (I) Like a mystery. (and yes i know..she probably doesnt have nerves of steel, but left the building..i know..)  [more]
