Elections on Tuesday

As I am sitting in the office and contemplating whether to take vacation time and go vote in mid-term elections the answer is coming as “no”. One thing that drives me crazy about lections in Texas is the voting on the judges. Judges don’t campaign and all they say is that they will uphold the constitution so what is the difference between them? I am not a lawyer and I don’t know them personally so how am I to decide? And I refuse to vote straight ticket. We don’t have any senators being elected, we have all the usual republican establishment on the ballot and they’ll be easily reelected so why bother, why waste vacation time?  [more]
