I frequently see, for a year and a half now, worries of stagflation.  Stagnant real economic growth combined with high inflation.  This vile fate is to befall us due to the printing of heinous quantities of money by Ben Bernanke and the federal reserve.  All this extra money will result in huge inflation which, in fact, is the goal as inflation is the only apparent cure to the civilized worlds debt issues.    [more]

Commercial real estate is quite a thing.  If your business is, say, manufacturing novelty pool balls in a fairly modest shop in some industrial park somewhere, probably nobody in your town knows about it except via meeting you. If someone at ye local pub said "what do you do for work?" and you said "I make CAPS brand pool balls, you know the clear ones with weird swirlies or custom pictures of your family", unless someone was a billiards fan, they'd probably have no idea what that meant.     [more]
