I've been sticking with it for a while and now I believe that everyone has finally figured it out. It has certainly helped my CAPS rating (that and actually bothering to make picks). In the reality-based world, I'm out of PCX but long and strong on BTU. Specifically, I'm long Sep 08 105/115 call verticals and Sep 08 90/115 call verticals, with a few long Sep 08 calls thrown in to increase the deltas a bit more. It is highly leveraged play, up around 40% since I added to it a few days ago. Telling the world is probably the kiss of death for it. [more]

I was loving coal a while back. Now, it's stinking again. It may be time to load the boat back in the reality-based world.

Wow, it looks like the UPS truck got the best end of the deal in a matchup crash of a UPS truck and FedEx truck. The FedEx truck looks rather torn up. Sounds like that blogger likes FedEx as well.

It was only a few weeks ago that I looked like an idiot for loading the boat with coal. Now, not so much. It's nice to see how quickly a rating can go from the teens to the seventies when the market turns in your direction. Patience is often all that is needed.

Apparently, I have a knack for picking the top for that stock. I picked it at $22 or so and watched it ride down, subsequently ending the pick. I repicked it, trying to catch the bottom. Famous last words: "I don't see it dropping below $18." Of course, less than 24 hours later, MOT lowers guidance, etc. To further demonstrate my commitment to the stock, I bought some Jan 09 15 calls yesterday morning.
To all the guys at MOT: "thanks so much".
