Chile, the hope of South America

Unlike Haiti, Greece or any other country who seem to lack the common sense to learn from their past and evolve into a more stable and prosperous society, Chile has demonstrated remarkable maturity, evolving from just another South American failed state to a stable and growing society, which has weathered the global recession quite well.  Now they will have to rebuild from an earthquake that can only be matched in magnitude by one they had decades earlier.  But just as they recovered from that prior 9+ earthquake, they will likely exceed most peoples’ expectations and rebuild even faster and more efficiently than Los Angeles or San Francisco.   To understand Chile's renaissance I refer you to the blog post below.  [more]
