PFBlog is one that I have followed for a few years and the reason I was following it was I was wondering how he would fair though the crash.  Anyway, his blog drew my attention to the 10 year performance of the various stock exchanges.  The blog I linked to is about a fund that went from $10k at the beginning of 2000 and is now worth 98 cents.  [more]

One little investment

As I have said a few times, I completely got of of the market in the fall of 2007, but I did leave my husband in one little investment, about $5k of mirasol, a junior gold mining company, a penny stock at the time, $0.48/share (10500 shares).  Yesterday sold 1/3rd (3500 shares) for $2.40.  That's about $3k of profit and still have 7k shares left.  [more]
