Exelixis, Inc. (NASDAQ:EXEL) is an interesting biotech that got absolutely walloped this week over investor disappointment. The firm's stock price quickly depreciated after announcing trials for one of its drugs would continue. This may seem counterintuitive at first, however, investors were eagerly hoping the drug would be so successful that the trials would end early.   [more]

Two admittedly unrelated bits of stock news in this post. First, RE/MAX (NYSE:RMAX) has just announced its first quarterly dividend. This is excellent news as management has followed up on their promise to announce a dividend and are quite confident about the company's future prospects.  [more]



Why I Sold FuelCell Energy.

Just one day over a month ago, I bought shares of an interesting company called FuelCell Energy (NASDAQ:FCEL) at $1.38 per share. So you can imagine my pleasant suprise as shares proceeded to meteorically skyrocket over news concerning Wal-Mart's (NYSE:WMT) contract with Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG). After careful review, however, I have decided to part ways with my holdings in FuelCell but don't necessarily encourage others to do the same.  [more]
