Hmmmmmm!   ... COMEX, NYMEX, Deutche Bank ... In, Crude Supply(?) at Cushing - part 1,  the hypothetical control the "STORAGE" scenario above, it's control of the pipelines, and control of the leased storage that wins "The Contango Game" by depriving the refineries of re-supply to the point they'll either pay whatever price is demanded --- or they'll have to shut down when their own tanks are empty.   [more]

February 20, 2009 – Comments (0) | RELATED TICKERS: DXO.DL.DL2 , UCO , USO

Hypothetically speaking, let's say I am a member of the XXXX crude oil cartel. Unfortunately, I have 99% of my country's GDP tied to crude. Now, I need to feed my people, pay bills, subsidize gasoline so my citizen's only pay 25c per gallon, etc. AND to do all that I need crude prices at $70 USD per bbl.   [more]

Taxes and the Economic Stimulus

February 09, 2009 – Comments (2) | RELATED TICKERS: BAC , DXO.DL.DL2 , DHT

The wait for the stimulus has an emotional roller coaster effect, if the economic impact of how the numbers are reported isn't made clear,  as it will affect our markets, and those around the world, it's only going to get worse.   Many  families of different sizes and income, based on the number of incomes in the household, and the number of persons in the household, worry what the tax burden will be.    [more]

Good bank, bad bank or theft?

February 01, 2009 – Comments (8) | RELATED TICKERS: BAC , C , RBS

**  Fact: the losses that we are seeing day after day, are NON-CASH, Mark-to-Market Losses. The losses ONLY become REAL when a sale, exchange, or transfer takes place. Exactly what WILL happen if "bad bank" takes over. Fact: Thirty percent of all homes in America have no mortgage.  I am 100% confident that of the 70% that are mortgaged, 80 - 85% will honor their commitments through loan maturity.
