GFRE uplisted today!

October 27, 2009 – Comments (6)

Here's a pick I intend to keep open for a long time.  I highlighted it as one of my favorites in this post and it is my next pick for AllStarPortfolio. It is a former .OB Chinese micro that finally uplisted to the NASDAQ today.  Anyway, pitch below:   [more]

Red Thumbs Too Easy to Find -- The Market is Overvalued

October 23, 2009 – Comments (10)

I've been adding quite a lot of red thumbs lately.  Many overvalued companies are out there and I'm locking in excellent start prices on some of these.  I'm inclined to say the market as a whole is overvalued.  I'm still able to find reasonably undervalued stocks to buy, but the level of undervaluation is no longer as egregious and many stocks that were formerly very undervalued are now only slightly undervalued.    [more]

SUTR Looks Cheap.

October 01, 2009 – Comments (3) | RELATED TICKERS: TOR.DL

Sutor Technologies is a steel company in India selling galvanized, pickled, and cold-rolled steel.  From just the description, I am led to believe that it may not be a fully integrated steel company.  A fully integrated company would probably sell hot-rolled steel and slabs as well.  The closing price as of 9/30/09 was $3.16.  Financials are available starting from the 12 months ended 2007, so I'll only be going back 3 years for the financials.  Keep in mind the fiscal year for them ends in June, so the 2009 numbers are TTM as well.  [more]
