Well since then SKX got even more oversold. Bears have fully loaded on this stock and appear to be squeezing every penny they can. Eventually they will cover when SKX issues guidance but until then it looks like the bears are in full control. [more]

First fell in Feb. then it fell in June and now August.
This breach in DJIA of 10k means lower lows are on their way, hopefully it will last just for a day or two.
has been oversold short-term because after the gap down on housing numbers. The market is rebounding quickly. That leads me to believe that the Smart-Money all loaded up on shorts or puts together yesterday when the market opened up Green.
Now they are taking those profits.
Would not be surprised if market gets close to turning green by end of the day.

The bears of gold should not get too excited because the US dollar going up today is just a deadcat bounce. The US economic numbers have slowed and a downward revision of GDP estimates will almost certainly bring the US dollar lower once again. [more]

Cree remains a solid long-term growth story- GARP Research (59.11) : GARP Research notes Cree's pro-forma EPS tripled y/y on a 79% increase in sales during the June quarter. But its shares dove 13% as management's outlook for the Sept. quarter disappointed on weakness in LED-TV backlighting. Nonetheless the firm says, the key driver to Cree's future—general lighting sales (~60% of total)—are expected to grow double-digits q/q, which suggests Cree remains a solid long-term growth story.
