Hello -- I've watched CAPS since its debut, but haven't really participated until now due to my earlier line of work. Now that I'm the lead advisor on Motley Fool's new service, Pro, we'll find new investment ideas and base many real-money investment decisions for our portfolio on the proprietary CAPS data at our fingertips here behind the scenes at TMF. By necessity, I'm using my public CAPS profile as a place to just list some limited ideas that I don't want to interefere with the real trades we'll make in Pro. But I must say, we're all very encouraged by the data both public here and inside TMF that shows a strong signal between CAPS 5-star stocks and strong outperformance, especially when it is CAPS All Star players who are rating a stock well (and vice versa with 1-star stocks). We look forward to highlighting many of you, many CAPS All Stars, in the new service, too. This service is really about using our investing experience and the communty, the power of CAPS, to turn data from CAPS into real-life investment decisions that prosper.
