After a tumultous two months, the markets have calmed considerably in December. We've had smaller declines and smaller but steady inclines. That should give confidence to the wary investors who are still reeling from October and November. Individual stock choices should vary with the news, but it makes no sense when investors sell in a panic, on news that won't affect the companies they own. [more]
