Hilarious Eisner Book Review...

September 27, 2010 – Comments (2)

Maybe it's being here in L.A., but this book cover below is so awesome. Here is a book about the beauty great partnerships. Get a load of the size of the names.  I got this from a review by Ian McGugan in Businessweek. McGugan writes, "Eisner's profound deafness to irony will provide readers with laughs; after all, what this book extols as partnership is much closer to brown-nosing."  [more]

Cap Punish Twitter & FB Pages

September 24, 2010 – Comments (1)

Hey Fools,

I'm working it here on a Friday night - much like a Hollywood streetwalker ...

I just finally finished passable designs on a Facebook page and a Twitter page. For those Fools who like to clip the suspenders of Wall Street Wise Men and love at their exposed bottoms, etc., this could be a fun way to connect.  I get a massive amount of fuel out of connecting with Fools here on CAPS - it's a unique breed of smart, decent, slightly geeky and sort of clinically insane. :> (Screw Lance Armstrong, I need my smiley faces to denote proper tone.)

Anyway, it is very rough to be on Twitter and FB with lame counts of Followers, Fans, Likers, etc. The Twitter will hopefully allow me to post many a useful link and wisecrack. The Wall on the Facebook home page is open to all Fools who enjoy the AMUSE section of the Foolish mission statement.  So please connect, and share. My goal is to generate a massive community of Fools who enjoy intelligent, smart, and ideally solid satire targeted at Wall Street's wickedest.

Here's a link to the Capital Punishment Twitter Page.  [more]

Capital Punishment - GoDaddy

September 21, 2010 – Comments (5)

Have you ever tried to buy a domain name from GoDaddy? It's seriously the digital equivalent of having a flasher open his raincoat in the alley and try to sell you a piece of crotchwaffle. I switched to Blue Host, and have never looked back. Anyway, please click on this link to view the latest Capital Punishment comic on Fool.Com. Your support is massively appreciated!   [more]

And the article that goes with it.

Lastly, yes, I admit, this is pretty much a self-portrait on more Sundays, around 8:30 p.m., than I care to admit. :>

Capital Punishment Picked Up

September 10, 2010 – Comments (8) | RELATED TICKERS: NFLX , BLOKA , HPQ

Hey Fools,

Massive thanks to all my CAPS friends for the positive response to the first Capital Punishment. The Fool has picked up the comic strip and for now we're trying it as a daily gig. I can't tell you all how excited I am to be doing this. Any time I get a public forum to clip the suspenders of Wall Street's wisest and wickedest, life is good.  I'm incredibly grateful to the Fools and CAPS players who took the time to comment on the NFLX one. It's amazing how much fuel one gets from a simple compliment, rec or word of encouragement. It's objective truth to me that this is the world's greatest investment community.

I'm going to give this 1,000% - scouring every business publication/site for every bit of chicanery I can find. Please email me any time you see blessed and deserving "targets of satire" - hypocrisy, stupidity, lying, cheating, selfishness, greed, ugliness, debauchery. You know, the good stuff.

Okay, here's links to the first two that have been published ...
