I am in the camp that most of this rally has to do with the massive moves the Euro has made against the dollar since last week, combined with earnings optimism. Gold has been shining very nicely in the midst of all of this and i think if this euro rally continues to weaken the dollar, we should see junior miners benefit the most GDXJ as been up 25% since its lost of last week. His economics are light years ahead of everyone in this country that doesn't understand what's at stake here. It's truely frightening. I think if we do not change course in a major way, we will eventually have a currency crisis here, maybe before the next election. It's all going to come down to how much China is willing to keep "manipulating" their currency....in other words, propping up our economy. [more]
