Serial acquirer Natus Medical is at it again, with an agreement to purchase Alpine Biomed for $43M and change. Normally when the buyer claims it will assimilate the new business and make it accretive to earnings in the quarter ahead I'm inclined to view that with a high level of skepticism. But, the track record for BABY in its previous acquisitions is impeccable -- Hawaii Medical (July 2009), Neurocom International (October 2008), Olympic Medical (October 2006), Bio-Logic Systems (February 2006).
