I am watching the charts of coffee and cotton, both which appear to be in an uptrend. I can't buy cotton, but I can buy coffee in the ETF "JO". Cotton etf sure to arrive soon. [more]

I've been accumulating my wish list on the way down, using SRS as a hedge. It's a bear to trade, but I did make some coin on it. I has stops in place, and while on the road for lunch, the big announcement came out. In the long run, it may help, but the longer theme of overindebted Americans will not be changed, unless the CHinese refinance our whole debt....which would be bad becausewe will just spend/borrow again. I just realised I had red thumbed SU instead of green thumbing it, one of many mistakes, like forgetting to close picks (SRS). I will buy more if it falls.

The recent 5 yr treasury with a yield of a whopping 1.82% had the lowest bid to cover in recent memory....1.98 Also, there was an anonymous "indirect bid" to save the auction. [more]
