SharePlanner Reversal Indicator: Gathering Clouds

September 30, 2012 – Comments (0) | RELATED TICKERS: SPY , QQQ , DIA

Despite the unexpected twists & turns from the SharePlanner Reversal Indicator of late, it is important to note that this kind of volatility hasn't happened since the 2011 topping process that led to a huge sell-off in equities. Perhaps this is another early warning sign like 2011 that began forming the topping process to a major sell-off. Respect your support levels!  [more]

One thing I've seen pouring through the insane amount of daily charts today is the sudden change in behavior in home-builders. The four charts below represent this weakness quite nicely. In fact each one, Lennar (LEN), KB Homes (KBH), D.R. SharePlanner Reversal Indicator: Calm Before the Storm

September 23, 2012 – Comments (0) | RELATED TICKERS: SPY

Nothing short of a dull week, the market did absolutely nothing after having a breakout the week prior that completely changed the tone of the market in the bull's favor. So with about five days of consolidation behind us, it would be logical to surmise that we are likely to see a move in the coming week out of the range the market is stuck in. In my opinion that is to the long side. The charts dictate it, the pullback/consolidation has seen no volume nor has there been really any panic on the days where we finished lower or traded lower intraday.   [more]
