Now might be a good time to add some cheap shares of your favorite offshore drillers like BHI, WFT, SII. They are all down 5% or more this morning on news that Obama is putting the kabosh (or is it Kibosh?) on offshore drilling. On the other hand, it might be better to short those stocks if you are so inclined as it may hurt their business at least for a little while. Depends a bit on your investing vs trading philosophy. Well I had high hopes for Jamba Juice (JMBA) but they had a disappointing earnings report after yesterday's close so I sold off my position. Not only did they miss the consensus earnings estimates but their sales were also below expectations. I will keep an eye on them and look to pick up some shares at a lower price in the future, assuming that they can turn things around. [more]

Out of curiosity I decided to look at some of the top "recommended" blog posts of the past year and shocker of shockers it was one from UL predicting that the S&P 500 was on the brink of collapse! That was in July 2009. In that post he stated: "I give to you the Greatest Blog about the impending S&P 500 collapse in the Universe!" [more]
