CAPS strategy - Say when to end picks

September 24, 2010 – Comments (7) | RELATED TICKERS: SAYCY.DL

I admit it - I got lucky this time!  This week (Wed) I ended my pick on Satyam (SAY) with a positive score of 19+ points.  I usually try to monitor big moves in my picks and often end them if it looks like they reach a near term top or sometimes just to lock in a positive score.  Well SAY says they are going to de-list today and the shares plummeted!  [more]

Generosity of Big Oil

I get lots of spam, but this one takes the cake!  Anyone else out there heard of the PAS (Poverty Alleviation Scheme)?  Can you imagine a big-wig at Royal Dutch Shell having an AOL email address?!  Then there is the wikipedia reference just in case you never heard of this company before.  And I love it when I am addressed as Beneficiary "A"...  [more]
