According to Barrons, the ratio of insider selling vs buying took a substantially bullish turn this week.  The trend had been getting rather bearish, as another popular blog post recently pointed out.  Personally, I have more faith in the editors of Barrons/MarketWatch/Smart Money/WSJ than some of the other sources of this data that are out on the web.  [more]

This little software company based in Israel with the presumptuous name of Magic Software (MGIC) has shot past the $5 mark and is trading today above $6.  It has more than doubled in just a few months and the latest spike is based on the news that Gartner Group ranked them in the "Visionaries Quadrant of the Gartner 2010 Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for Systematic SOA-Style Application Projects."  Quite a mouthful I realize, however, what it means is that CIOs and other top IT execs will now have Magic on their minds as they look to roll out new IT solutions in 2011 and beyond.  [more]
