I'm ending my "Outperform" pick on this stock because it looks to be heading into waht I call the "profit-taking" phase of the IPO cycle. It was probably the high insider ownership that induced me to make the pick originally, though my memory is unclear on this matter.
MMLP, my "personalized stock idea" for today, Monday, April 19, 2010, looks very good to a fan of insider ownership like myself. Insiders already own 39% of the outsanding stock, and some directors have bought more on the open market recently.
That may reduce the chance of a hostile takeover bid, but it also reduces the chance that the Co. will need rescuing from the current management. That's a trade worth making, IMO.
This is my "personalized stock idea" for yesterday, April 16, 2010. Overall it looks to me like what professional analysts would call a "Hold", i.e. something you shouldn't short, or sell if you already own some, but not something you should either buy more of or open a new position in.
