How many members here agree with me that a stock shouyld be taken off one's watchlist when one enters an active pick on it? Programming such a change in this site's system shouldn't be any harder than adding stocks to one's "Ended" list at the appropriate time, should it?
This "penny stock" might be a legitimate bargain. [http://www.finance.yahoo.com] says that in the last 6 months insiders have bought 404,000 shares in the open market and not sold any! [more]
It recently occurred to me that requiring every Fool to rate 5-10% of his/her active picks as "Top Picks" would have some advantages. Along with a rule that active picks could not be ended until at least 5 trading days after the "Top Pick" label was removed from them. These rules would make "gaming the system" even more difficult than it is now. Who agrees and who disagrees?
Been looking at the "Value" tag recently, and thinking it ought to be renamed "Book Value Bargains". Since I've come to believe that cash flow is a more reliable stat, I'd like to see a list of stocks eligible for rating that have Price/CashFlow ratios lower than 15. A list of eligible stocks with 52 Week lows below $10.00/share would also meet my approval.
