We already have a health care system. In my view we don't need another one. That would be two systems if my math is right. One is enough. Now I know that not everyone can afford health care now and its only made worst with the current recession. But this is my point. Use the money to create jobs not health care. Instead of creating a public system, I suggest we use the money differently. How about getting more people to have jobs and allow them to to pay for their own health Care. Throw in a discount on the premiunms that everyone has to pay. Doing this would lower unemplyment, allow people to contribute to the economy, prevent business from having to pay out of profits for health care which will only lower everyone standard of living and lower our ablitiy to grow and lower our position in the world.. For those permenently out of work we have charities to help them out and considered asking the employed to contribute to a charity for health care to help finance the charities. People who contribute to the charity could get a tax break. Jobs is our number one problem with this economy right now,and our focus should be on Jobs. Creating a second health care system is not needed since we have one which by the way is considered the best in the world. and instead use the money where its needed. Just My two cents. [more]

How to create more "green shoots"? Try more business creativity. Wr need more ::clouding computering", more rechargable batteries, more hybrid cars, more clean housing be it by solor, natural gas,or technology, more robotics. You get the idea,more creativity. We must try to reach for the stars. All with the purpose of crreating more jobs and more spending. Our economy will grow, and leads the way, providied business continues to create. [more]

If ebay sells skype to skype founders you will have a big rip off of ebay. First skype founders get more money than skype was worth when they sold it to ebay and now they want to buy it back at a billion dollars less than what they sold it for. What a great deal for the skype founders and what a rip of ebay. Ebay would be crazy to make such a deal. Ebay would be giving these guys a billion bucks for nothing. I'll take that deal and so will every one else who could get such a deal.. When ebay made the deal they had less than 100 million subscrbers of skype now they have 400 million subscribers. And ebay says its a great stand alone business. Why would they be willing to sell such a business at such a low price. If this were a real estae deal they would be calling this low balling the seller. That's stupid.. Ebay should keep it. [more]

Getting scared out of the market, because of the current downturn in the stock market will turn out to be one of the biggest mistakes an investor can make in investing.. Its a bigger mistake than losing all your money in an investment you place your faith in. Why, because you'll miss out on future chances to gain you investment back. So don't be scared out of the market. Go back in the market and try again. Its much better choice than crying over it and doing nothing. Running away, will only result in you wasting your time. I know this happen to me, so pass this advice on. Warren Buffet made a reference to something similar today when he was interviewed on radio. He said if you have too much fear , its very hard to over come this. And if apply this to the stock market, by being scared out of the market,because of fear, it could be very hard to go back in.
