Well, I finally did it--I put in an order for CROX. This is about as high-flyin' a stock as you'll find, and I've been nervous about their valuation for the last year--and almost 400% return. I've been tracking them, and knowing that if I had only put $500 into them when I started following them, that $500 would be almost $2500 now.   [more]

I am curious about whether there are any other CAPS players who consciously use aspects of socially responsible investing (SRI) while choosing their CAPS picks. I am not a strict SRI follower, but I do my best to avoid companies with philosophies or products that are counter to my ideals. For example, I do my best to stay away from oil/petroleum companies, defense, big pharma, and companies selling highly addictive products.  [more]
