Canadian Nat. Resouces Trusts

February 16, 2007 – Comments (2)

The Holloween massacre is behind us. Canadian oil/coal trusts have declined as much as 30-35%. Yet, they continue to pay essentially the same dividends, the tax rate continues to be 15%, AND will continue to do so for the next 3+ years. Yields on trusts such as CNE, ERF, FDG, PWE, and PWI are well above 10% with CNE paying $0.16 (U.S.D.) per month and selling at $12.5 for an AFTER TAX yield of more than 13%. ERF, one of the best of these trusts curently pays about $0.42/month and yields 11%.  [more]
