Whats this fuss about India buying gold...

November 09, 2009 – Comments (3)

The latest talking point for all gold bugs is India buying 220 Tones of gold from IMF. I do not understand why its being considered significant. The purchase price for India is USD 863/oz. Thats about 35-40% discount to current market price. Besides the amount involved is just 2% of reserves, does it mean country is making bullish gold bets... A big NO.   [more]

Rate of adance of stock prices is a warning sign..

October 14, 2009 – Comments (0)

The Rate of advance of stock prices scares me. Usually the prices advance is fast when bubble is being formed which ultimately pops. The problem is that the bubble can keep growing for a while. In recent memory I recall few of those

- Tech stocks

- Housing

- Oil

- Financial stocks

Lets keep on the edge our seat.. guessing what comes next...

US Govt found a new way to reduce inflation - Cash for clunkers

September 28, 2009 – Comments (1)

Amazing.. So basically if inflation ever appears as a result of Govt defecits or Fed printing money, it can be controlled in a new way. Provide rebate to people to recycle the old stuff..

Amazing... learning new applications of the policies. Now we have it, the solution for inflation seems to be same one that created inflation.. create money and pay people to shop/spend.

Coming up Next .. how you use the tax refunds to increase per capita income.. stay tuned.
