Irritated with my CAPS blog

October 16, 2009 – Comments (6)

I only use this space to vent, usually.  After spending 15 minutes writing a post actually financially interesting to more than just myself, I go in today to see it isn't even there.  I typed it out hit preview.  My DH read it and even said, " Oh that's a good question and point. Better than your others." Thanks DH. That started a whole debate. I then hit post message.  Even thought it was interesting that things have changed and you can now submit for Fool editor review.  Distinctly remember, don't want to check that, just submit, click post message.  Anywho, thought I would check to see what response I got and where the heck did it go?  Was it because I included an outside link? No clue the reason. So frustrated, annoyed, will take me awhile to get over it and post again.  [more]

Eat out at a good local Tucson restaurant

June 25, 2009 – Comments (3)

Summer time in Tucson is always very slow.  It especially drags for our local restaurants.  Which has its pros and cons for us year round residents.  The negative is that many of your favorites that you are used to aren't open for lunch in the summer.  The positive is that many of your favorites even on a weekend have wait times of less than 15 minutes. And even better your favorites on a weekday have no wait at all!  [more]

My score has been in the negative 100s for so long that it isn't worth trying to salvage it.  [more]

A (tax refund) PARTY to put it all in perspective

April 22, 2009 – Comments (1)

Yep, our over the top childrens party was a HUGE success.  We had 16 SAHMs here with their 22 toddlers. Total bill with 3 tier cake, party favors, ice, juice boxes, and all listed in previous post actually ended up being 28% of our tax refund. We got 68 awesome photos for memories. My whole SAHM group is still talking about what an impression it made on their kids. It was so totally worth it.  Plus, we helped the local economy.  [more]
