So many TMF “bears” and “bulls” speculate on the short term direction of the market.  This style of investing is like the siren call to an investor’s ego.  The problem with it is two fold: it turns good investors into short term gamblers, and even with good evidence that the market is incorrect it is impossible to determine the time horizon for the correction (the .com bubble for example).   [more]
