( This is a write-up on my arbitrage experiments. I have put in a sell order for NWEC and CONR. The real returns for NWEC is 4% including dividends, excluding taxes & commissions, annualised this should work out to about 6~7%. On 27th December, I wrote about another arbitrage opportunity, CONR. The price gap has narrowed from 6.85% to 1.81% resulting in a return of 5.04% in less than 3 weeks, and I have also put in a sell order on CONR. ) [more]
Added substantially to Western Union at $22.00 today, will continue to buy on downward 10% movement. See my previous post on WU's economic moat. I am convinced this is a long term buy and hold, trading at 20x trailing earnings, which is slightly discounted to its peers but has better metrics.
